The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides a range of in-home care services to help eligible veterans live safely and independently. Covered services may include help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support. The Community Care Network and the Aid and Attendance or Housebound benefits are designed to support both veterans and their caregivers with Homemaker and Home Health Aide services provided by a VA-approved provider such as Harmony at Home Senior Care. Eligibility and benefits depend on medical need, service connection, and enrollment in VA health care.
The Veterans Community Care Program (VCCP or VCC), managed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), allows eligible Veterans to receive care from community providers outside the VA healthcare system.
Qualifying veterans can use the program to fully or partially cover their care for a Homemaker and Home Health Aide depending on the number of hours allotted by the VA. This program is based on health concerns and income is not taken into consideration for eligibility. Harmony at Home Senior Care is a VA certified provider and member of the Veteran Affairs Community Care Network (CCN) in Texas for Dallas-Ft. Worth and the surrounding counties.

The Veterans Aid and Attendance (A&A) Program is an additional monetary benefit provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to eligible veterans and their surviving spouses who require assistance with activities of daily living due to disability or aging. To qualify, the veteran or surviving spouse must meet both service requirements and care-related criteria.
This benefit is supplemental to the VA Pension or Survivor Pension and can be used along side the Veterans Community Care Program to pay for care.

Respite care is a VA benefit that provides temporary relief for family caregivers by offering short-term care services for eligible veterans. Care can be delivered in the home, at adult day centers, or in VA-contracted nursing facilities, and helps prevent caregiver burnout while ensuring veterans continue to receive quality support. Veterans may qualify based on clinical need and VA health care enrollment.
Respite care can be used in combination with Veterans Community Care and VA Caregiver Support programs.
